Nourishing Steadfastness.
Cultivating Liberation.
We are Sa7ten, a Palestinian community-led initiative—not an NGO. We decolonize aid by responding directly to our people's needs, serving with dignity (Karama) and fostering agency (Tamkeen) amidst the ongoing genocide and seventy-seven years of Israeli occupation.
Our work and aid mobilization are rooted in Ubuntu, Sabr, Sumud, and communal care—this is not charity.
More Than Aid: We Are an Extension of Our Community
Born from the heart of Palestinian steadfastness (Sumud), Sa7ten emerged organically to meet the urgent needs of our people. We operate on principles of mutual aid and direct accountability, challenging traditional aid models that often depoliticize our struggle and disempower our communities. Our work is inherently political, intertwined with the fight for liberation and return.
Grassroots Aid & Cultural Renaissance.
Two Pillars of Our Mission:
From providing life-sustaining hot meals and clean water to building shelters and sourcing critical medical supplies, our aid efforts are immediate, direct, and community-driven. We organize with and respond to calls from our people, ensuring support reaches those who need it most, with dignity.
Beyond aid, we are building a self-sustaining ecosystem where Palestinian creativity funds Palestinian futures. Our cultural platform and marketplace connect our artists and their powerful narratives with the world, generating economic impact and fostering cultural resistance.
“We work, even if we get 100 dollars, we will work with it, and if we get 1000 dollars, we will work with it, and 5000 we will work with it”
-Ahmad, Sa7ten’s Operations Manager
